Jessica Jackson, LSW (Licensed Clinician)

Jessica Jackson is an outpatient therapist with several years of experience, working within a variety of settings, and with a multitude of populations. Jessica has earned her Master’s in Social Work and is currently a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).

During Jessica’s internships she worked in a secured facility with at risk youth who struggled with complex trauma, and addiction. While there she helped to create and implement a Grief Group, so that all incoming, and current residents could process their many losses. Jessica also worked closely with sex trafficking victims in a group setting using Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Art Therapy.

Jessica is in trained in a variety of therapies like TFCBT, Motivational Interviewing, Grief Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Jessica has a passion for the LGBTQ+ Community, and desires to offer services that provide a safe and welcoming space. She is especially interested in working with LGBTQ+ individuals/couples using multiple techniques. Jessica also enjoys working with youth of any age, even the young at heart, as she hopes to help them navigate a path that leads to a brighter future. She believes in meeting people right where they are and installing the hope in them to seek that future. She likes to shine the light on the resources within the client, because after all she says “one has all that they need inside of them, they just need a little help sometimes to see that.”

In addition to therapy Jessica is passionate about advocacy and bringing awareness to polices at large that very often further marginalize those who are oppressed. She has advocated on behalf of sex trafficking victims in Indiana, at the Indiana State House. She has also presented at an educational event on best practice for Alaskan Native/Native American populations. She believes that advocacy is key in creating a world that is accessible to all, and that perhaps just maybe we will one day get to that world.
