Kaylyn Bussard, LSW (Licensed Clinician)
Kaylyn Bussard is a Licensed Social Worker with over five years of experience in the mental health field working with children, teens, and families facing a multitude of issues, including trauma, suicidal ideation and self harm, depression, anxiety, and long-term mental health issues. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Indiana University South Bend in 2020.
Kaylyn uses an eclectic approach to therapy, with foundations in DIalectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She also believes that the best therapy is trauma-informed and client-centered. Kaylyn works to meet clients where they are and combines skill building with traditional talk therapy.
Kaylyn has a special interest in working with the LGBTQ+ population, whether children, teens, or adults who are navigating their identities, coping with coming out, or navigating life as a member of the community.
