Sari Lammivaara, LMSW (Licensed Clinician)
I am a healer, free thinker, family member, dog owner and friend. In my own life I try to practice “everyday mindfulness” in most things I do which grounds me and helps me be aware of the present moment. I see great value in the appropriate use of humor but never at the cost of any individual or group. I am told that I am easy to talk to. PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY: I am a therapist with 18 years of experience helping individuals and families heal from emotional pain, manage mental health, improve coping, and have healthier relationships. I provide a warm, safe, accepting environment to help you to explore your feelings and options, gain understanding and clarity, and develop real-life solutions through our collaborative work together. I have extensive clinical experience diagnosing and treating Mental Health, Co-occurring Substance-Abuse, and various Life/Relationship issues with diverse populations.
ONE of the keys to healing is learning to develop genuine Understanding and Compassion for ourselves, our experience, and those of others. I believe that with the right support anyone can learn lasting skills to transform difficulties into triumphs, self-doubts into self-acceptance, and conflicts to strengthen one’s relationships.
